Our AngelStep® GOLD8 acoustic underlay is designed to enhance the acoustic performance of all flooring. It is ideal for use in apartments, townhouses, upmarket housing, professional offices or wherever separating floors or adjoining dwellings are present, regardless of their flooring type.
At only 8mm thick, the AngelStep® GOLD8 provides maximum performance with minimum thickness and is available in tiles sized 1150 mm x 1150 mm.
With the freedom to choose whether the polyester side or the foil moisture barrier faces upward (depending upon the desired result), its unique construction also guarantees uniform resilience throughout the material by avoiding glues or binding agents and instead, holding fibres together through a double-needling process.
Completely Building Code of Australia (BCA) compliant, the AngelStep® GOLD8 (and the rest of our AngelStep® range of underlays) has been shown to offer a more effective acoustic treatment, and is thinner and more cost-efficient than the rest of the market. This is confirmed in independent comparison tests carried out by various acoustic consultants who are members of the AAAC (Association of Australasian Acoustical Consultants) and AAS (Australian Acoustical Society).
